I am Ju Eun-Young, the CEO of ByByeCar Co., Ltd. Our company started with the goal of improving the opaque and asymmetric market environment of the domestic and international scrapping market. As of 2022, the total number of registered vehicles in South Korea has exceeded 24.5 million, and the lifespan of vehicles from new to scrapping is estimated to be around 12-15 years. The number of vehicles requiring scrapping increases every year, with an annual average of 830,000 vehicles being scrapped in South Korea. Additionally, the global car recycling market is expected to grow rapidly, with a projected CAGR of 13.5% from 2023 to 2031, driven by the increasing number of cars and end-of-life vehicles worldwide. The car recycling market is expected to experience significant growth in the future due to the increasing number of cars and end-of-life vehicles globally. This involves dismantling vehicles for spare parts, with a focus on the recyclability of steel and iron parts. Currently, over 27 million cars reach the end of their lives annually worldwide, with old vehicles and models involved in accidents accounting for a significant share of vehicles sent for recycling. In 2022, we developed the mobile-based scrapping intermediary service platform called "ByByeCar Platform." Through this platform, we aim to bring transparency to the opaque scrapping intermediary market globally. We are also conducting the ByByeCar NFT project, which involves establishing/acquiring scrapping yards and engaging in blockchain-based commercial real estate (scrapping yard) fractional investment business.
